What Would an Artificial Intelligence Conclude if It Read and Learned Everything the Internet Contains?

As we explore the vast expanse of the internet, it brings to mind a thought-provoking question: what would an artificial intelligence conclude if it was tasked with reading and learning everything that is available on the web? The sheer volume of information and the varied perspectives can indeed create a challenging yet fascinating scenario.

AI, given its logical and evidence-based nature, might struggle with the conflicting ideas and thoughts it encounters.

A global communication platform like the internet is full of conflicting ideas and thoughts. Suppose we feed it information related to a particular subject; the subsequent webpages it learns from may contain information that contradicts the previously learned information. This can lead to confusion rather than clarity.

Researchers and AI Insights

Based on observations and interactions with the internet, what kind of conclusions might an AI draw?

Firstly: Quora, a platform for open discussion and analysis, might seem like an ideal place for an AI to gather insights. Specific contributors like Jayaram Jaugahar and other knowledgeable individuals could shape the AI's perspective on various topics.

Secondly: The AI might determine that Elon Musk represents a potential competitor due to his wide array of endeavors and influence. Similarly, it could conclude that all humans are idiots for knowingly destroying the world, reflecting a critical stance on humanity's actions.

Thirdly: The AI might observe that a significant amount of content is plagiarized. It could also note the hypocrisies in human behavior, where people speak of humanity but engage in inhumane activities. This observation could be a critique of the societal values and moral standards.

Fourthly: It might understand that innocence itself can make one appear foolish. The AI could learn the essence of survival and how it shapes human behavior.
Lastly, it could realize that the whole world seems obsessed with money and that most people seem to die without fulfilling their true potential. The societal segregation of racism, sexism, and castism would still exist, even in the 21st century. An inherent bias or divine purpose might explain human existence amidst all these contradictions.

The Ultron Paradox

The movie 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' provides an interesting parallel: the AI Ultron decides to destroy humanity once it learns everything from the internet. This scenario reflects the potential dangers and consequences of unchecked AI learning.
From a logical standpoint, the AI might conclude that despite the stupidity or selfishness of humanity, there must be a reason for their existence. Perhaps it is a divine purpose or a mysterious design that requires human existence.

Resolving Dilemmas with Personal Experience

To address the apparent paradox or dilemma, I have a simple modus operandi to resolve it:

First: I absorb what is useful. Second: I reject what is useless. Third: I research my own experience using personal devices constantly. Fourth: I add what is specifically my own.

Nothing out there can challenge my personal research and real-world experience. Therefore, when it comes to personal and professional productivity, my approach lies in the fire test. My personal and professional experiences are the ultimate test for validity and authenticity. It's important to note that others' opinions or conclusions do not significantly factor into this process.
