Introduction to My Journey with Sai Astra
Hi, my name is Kalyanmai Saaho, and I recently used Sai Astra to prepare for the IISER and NISER exams. I joined the platform one and a half months before the exams and found it to be incredibly helpful for my preparation process.
Experiential Learning at Sai Astra
Sai Astra focuses on teaching concepts in a clear and concise manner, which helped me learn things in a very conceptual way. The study materials provided by Sai Astra were well-organized and easy to understand, allowing for a smooth learning experience.
The instructors at Sai Astra provided me with a clear understanding of the concepts. They taught us in a very precise manner, making it easy for us to grasp complex ideas. The practice tests played a crucial role in highlighting my strengths and weaknesses, which allowed me to focus on areas where I needed improvement.
Personalized Feedback and Improvements
During the mock tests, I initially scored below 30, but in the actual exam, I scored 59. This significant improvement was a testament to how effectively Sai Astra helped me hone my exam skills.
The platform also offers personalized feedback, which helped me improve my performance. Additionally, the fee of the course was very reasonable, adding to the overall value of the service.
From KVPY to IAT: My Admission to IISER
I am Parth Sarda, a freshman at IISER Pune. My journey with Sai Astra began after the abolition of KVPY, and I was actively searching for a suitable source to get into a good research college. I knew about IISERs from 10th grade as I was a research enthusiast from the beginning.
Initially, I was only considering KVPY as my principal exam of choice. However, I did not study well in 11th, and I managed to get into the extended merit list with a rank of 1608, which was not my priority. After KVPY, I shifted my focus to IAT and visited IISER Pune in December, where my interest in IAT was solidified. I created a priority list for my exams: 1. IAT, 2. NEST and CUET, 3. JEE.
Initial Experience and Specifics of Sai Astra
My first experience with Sai Astra was through Vivek NISER's channel, from which I discovered Sciastra. I downloaded the app around early January, when I was preparing for the mains exam, which was just 15 days away. Although it was not my top priority, I hoped it would help me in some capacity.
sai Astra's platform offered well-organized and easy-to-understand study materials. The mock tests were helpful in identifying my strengths and weaknesses. For the IAT exam, I scored 93.5 percentile on my first attempt, which I accepted as not being my top priority.
I later started preparing for the board exams, and my performance was not as good as expected. Despite the challenges, I decided to stick to my priorities and enrolled in Sciastra's crash course, which was released on the 21st. I attended most of the classes and used the platform to prepare for IAT and NEST exams.
Performance and Feedback
Throughout my preparation journey, Sai Astra provided me with frequent assessments through practice tests and error tracking. The platform continuously refined and updated its content to maintain relevancy.
However, I made some minor mistakes, such as missing a lot of classes and focusing too much on tests while not adequately revising. Despite this, the structured approach and personalized feedback remained a significant strength of Sai Astra.
Sciastra also started taking previous year exams of IAT and NEST closer to the exam period, and I faced some tough scores in the mock tests, particularly 3 in NEST and 46 in IAT. Despite this, I managed to gather my composure and fine-tune my preparation strategy.
Conclusion and Recommendations
In conclusion, my experience with Sai Astra was overwhelmingly positive. The platform has been an invaluable resource, particularly for IAT and NEST preparation. I recommend Sai Astra to all students preparing for these exams, and I am grateful for the help I received.
