My Hostel Room: A Window into My Personality and Daily Life
Recently, I have been filled with immense happiness and contentment, all thanks to a fortunate shift back to a room with a balcony in my hostel. This room, with its spacious and welcoming features, has made a significant impact on my wellbeing and daily routine.
Understanding My Past
My third-year hostel room was quite average, with left side being mine and the right side belonging to my roommate. The view from the lobby in front of my gate was a simple yet comfortable scene. The room often echoed with the sound of rain during the monsoon season, providing a peaceful backdrop for many late-night study sessions. One of my fondest college memories was captured in a photo during that time. This bare cupboard, on the right side, served as a reflection of my personality. It is strikingly neat, with no unnecessary items and all essential things in perfect order. This cupboard is a testament to my simplicity and practicality.
There was another cupboard in the same room, but the brown one, which held nothing but used notebooks and clothes. It held no significant personal reflection and was left behind when I shifted to my current room.
Transitioning to a Luxurious Room
The second room I occupied was filled with minor drawbacks. It had a small window with insufficient ventilation and barely any natural light. Despite paying the same rent, this room was not a good value for money. My dissatisfaction led me to make a prompt decision to move to the room with a balcony. This shift was indeed the best decision I made for myself this week. Hostels in Coral Park Kota are generally good, and I have found my current hostel to be exceptional.
The new room offers a single bed just the way I have always wanted! It comes with decent storage, and there is additional storage within the bed itself. A comprehensive study desk enriches the learning experience. On the right side, an attached washroom is available, and the highlight of the room is undoubtedly the balcony. This feature was a major draw for me, as I could not tolerate rooms with little to no natural light or proper ventilation. To adapt to my needs, I shifted as soon as possible, and I am grateful to the owner for being so accommodating.
The view from my balcony offered a scenic scene. It even featured Allen Supath standing right at the edge, right where you expected him to be. My hostel is conveniently located close to the institute, which adds another bonus. This setup has significantly enhanced my comfort and quality of life. I pay Rs.8.5k per month for the room, and it is definitely a good deal. The food provided is also of great quality.
Thank you for reading. This is the end of my reflection on my new room, a window into my personal space and daily routine.
