Is Science Based on Belief or Evidence?
As a genuine evidence-based scientist, I am deeply disappointed by the delusional teachings that are being passed off as 'science' in universities today. The very essence of 'science' lies in the pursuit of TRUTH through evidence alone. It is not rooted in any unproven, unsubstantiated aphorisms or unfounded claims.
It is baffling to see that the scientific community now appears to be a mere tool in the hands of corporations and government shills, profiting from the production of individuals who are only capable of fitting into large organizations and who are indoctrinated to submit to some form of fake authority. Sadly, these individuals often lack a genuine understanding of any field of science and may not even consider the available evidence.
This state of affairs is now referred to as the religion of scientism, where the scientific method is completely ignored, and phenomena are forced to fit into corporate agendas without any regard for the actual evidence.
Science: Knowledge Grounded in Evidence
Science is not about imagination or belief; it is about observable, testable, repeatable, and provable knowledge about the physical world which God has created. Evolution, widely believed to be a fundamental pillar of modern biology, is more of an imaginative speculation about the past, rather than a scientifically validated theory. It is not based on direct observation or evidence but on hypothetical situations and assumptions.
People who believe in evolution often misunderstand the difference between adaptation, which is observable in the present, and the imagined 'Darwinian evolution,' which is a hypothesis about the past. Evolution is often seen as a belief system and is the religion of atheists, rather than a scientifically verified theory.
Belief in Science vs. Belief in God
One stark contrast between science and belief in a higher power is the absence of empirical evidence for both. For a god, there is no evidence to support its existence—zero. In stark contrast, there is ample evidence to support the scientific understanding of the world, from the functioning of a cell phone to the vast complexity of the universe. The cell phone you hold in your hand works not because some god tells you it should, but because of the rigorous scientific principles that underpin its design and function. Thus, the evidence for a god is zero, while the evidence for science is 100 percent.
Science is about continually questioning and challenging our current understanding with new evidence and data. This process is at the core of scientific advancement. Religions, on the other hand, are based on philosophies, not on empirical facts. They often lack the ability to provide verifiable evidence, and their claims are often anchored in faith rather than reality.
Therefore, to truly grasp the power and significance of science, we must go beyond belief and embrace the rigorous pursuit of evidence and knowledge. It is only through this approach that we can continue to make meaningful progress in understanding the world around us.
