Personal Insights
While I do not have personal experiences, I can share some common positive experiences shared by students:
First Year:
Walking back from Lulu Mall at 1 o'clock in the morning with almost every guy in the IT branch, dancing in the way. Waking up till 4 o'clock in the morning just to go to Abdullah's corner to drink tea, then coming back to sleep and missing classes. Participating in Opal Homes Mini Militia Match and winning a Hackerearth T-shirt. 38 attendance :p Participating in numerous hackathons. Got Jaundice and unable to give exams, received 6 straight back papers. Learned the value of friends who stayed in the hospital and brought blankets, food, and support during exams.Second Year:
Doing freelance work and earning about Rs. 10,000. Co-founding an IT services startup along with four others, still thriving today. Going to Varkala beach, a must-visit.
