Student Insights: Daily Routine and Campus Life
Here's a detailed account of a typical day at NIT Andhra Pradesh, provided by a student:
My day starts between 6:30–7:30 AM. For first-year students, we have Extra Academic Activities (EAA) from 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM. It is compulsory although it doesn't have credits. EAA is twice a week.
Then I complete my chores by 8:30 and have breakfast. The mess is open from 7:30–10:00 AM for breakfast.
After breakfast, I attend classes in the Academic Block, which is a walkable distance from our hostels. Some people go on bicycles. The morning session is from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
I return to the mess for lunch and might take a small nap. In the afternoon session, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, I engage in discussions with friends and go for a walk.
From 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, I have free time to socialize and relax. After 8:00 PM, we go to the mess for supper and return to our rooms.
Around 8:30 PM, I talk to my parents for half an hour and review my next day's class work.
By around 11:00–11:30 PM, I go to bed.
That's my typical day at NIT Andhra Pradesh.
