Can JEE Aspirants Play Games?
Yes, along with studying, keeping your mind fresh is another important habit that helps you crack the JEE. If you are not spending time with your family or not playing games, you will always think of studying, but you won't be able to study effectively. One thing is essential: you should not skip any of your classes. Always prioritize studying, but after completing your daily goals, you can play.
Why Not?
But you should manage your time appropriately! Managing studies and games in parallel is crucial. Otherwise, your studies will go off track.
Real-Life Lessons During Pandemic
A few months back, our college decided to close down due to the covid-19. We were in our third year of engineering from one of the most prestigious institutions of the nation. We came back home, expecting to return in a few weeks. Now, we are going to graduate in six months without ever returning. The lesson is clear: if you want to say something, say it now. If you want to make memories with your friends, do it now. If you want to play games and enjoy the golden period of your life, do it now. All that is left is regret. An unfulfilled craving is too much for anyone to handle. It's easy to say this because I made it to this institution. You can also study hard and make it to your chosen institution with your desired branch. But do not leave anything you love for tomorrow. It might happen that it will never be realized.
Deciding Between Career and Fun
I studied hard for a job and academic excellence, postponing my desires for the time I get a job. Today, I have a great job, but that is never going to satisfy my craving for all that I postponed. In a nutshell, work like a warrior, reward yourself like a king. Otherwise, the world may cheer you for your victory while you lie half-dead on the ‘golden’ stretcher, with your cravings killing you slowly and painfully. At the same time, make sure to first fight like a warrior and WIN. Else, you might end up seeing your friends make tons of long-term money and fun while you play games online! Balance with a bias towards studies.
