VALUES AND PASSIONS OF INTJs IN A CHAOTIC WORLD

As an INTJ, there are certain values and passions that deeply resonate with me. Some of these are easily recognizable, while others remain hidden behind layers of complexity and truth. In a world that often struggles to grasp and address fundamental issues, it's essential for us to understand and advocate for these values more than ever.

THE APPRECIATION FOR REALITY AND TRUTH

INTJs are known for our love of reality and truth. We are not content with surface-level explanations; we delve into the depths of understanding to uncover the essence of things. This passion for truth is driven by a spark to see how things truly work, and then to push boundaries to explore their limits.

For example, there is a particular analogue experience that captivates me: the feeling of the wind on a highway at 4 AM, riding a supersport 950 S. In those moments, I find a profound sense of reality and an unfiltered truth. The world feels naked, and this clarity can be incredibly liberating and invigorating.

THE STRUGGLE FOR PASSION AND IDEALISM

Currently, I am grappling with a significant challenge in my passion for the world around us. The existential threats we face today are daunting. Despite widespread calls for democratic solutions, global cooperation remains elusive. We often value tried-and-true methods over innovative ones, even when clearer evidence suggests the need for change. This trend is particularly pronounced among millennials, which is a troubling sign for the future of our planet.

One of the most concerning aspects is the preference for fame and short-term gains over long-term solutions. It seems that many millennials eschew the responsibility of saving the world in favor of fleeting monetary success or social media fame. This 'nothing matters' mentality is not only detrimental to our collective future but also devalues genuine efforts to create meaningful change.

The interconnectedness of our social media lives and the real-world issues we face is another area of concern. While we may boast about likes and followers on Facebook and Instagram, the true impact of our actions on the environment or global peace remains unaddressed. This disparity between what we claim to value and what we actually do is a stark reflection of our current societal values.

RELATIONSHIPS AND MORALS

Our passion for truth and reality also extends to our personal lives, particularly in the context of relationships. Intense infatuations can cloud our judgments, leading us to make irrational decisions. Genuine connections are often discarded because they don't meet our preconceived expectations. The ability to create and sustain meaningful relationships requires a balance of passion and practicality, skills that can sometimes be challenging to develop.

We often set unrealistic expectations for love and relationships, hoping to find the perfect partner and perfect relationship. However, the reality is that no relationship is perfect, and rejecting genuine connections based on superficial criteria can lead to a life of unfulfilled potential.

A CLOCKWISE FUTURE

Given the challenges and complexities of the world, I find myself pondering the future and its prospects. While I sincerely hope for a better tomorrow, the evidence does not align with this optimistic view. The scientific community is increasingly aligned with the concerns that keep me up at night. However, I am grateful for the life I have lived and the wisdom gained along the way.

Though not all agree, many INTJs share a deep dissatisfaction with the current state of the world. The prevailing idiocracy seems to be a common theme among us, as we struggle to find meaningful purpose in a world that often prioritizes short-term gains over long-term sustainability.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE FUTURE

As we move forward, it's crucial to embrace innovation and realistic solutions. Engage with climate scientists, politicians, and change-makers to drive meaningful progress. Foster genuine connections and relationships based on mutual respect and understanding, rather than superficial criteria.

Remember, the path forward may not always be clear, but it is within our power to shape a more sustainable and meaningful future for us all.
